Colmenares Del Bosque bee honey is 100% raw, this mainly means that it has not been pasteurized and micro-filtered. Pasteurization is the most common process in the industry to which other honeys are subjected. Pasteurization consists of heating them to high temperatures (around 70 degrees Celsius) and then cooling them quickly. Industrially, this process may be better but all the enzymatic power that honey provides, its bactericidal, anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-septic and antibiotic benefits is lost.
